Title in gold on spine. All gilt edges. Frontispiece is a b/w reproduction of a drawing of the Sutter Street Synagogue. Decorative initials throughout. Illustrated with b/w reproductions of photographs of the synagogue, its presidents, Rabbi's, etc. Boards slightly bowed. Some age wear on edges and corners. Head and tail of spine chipped. Split along joint on back board firmly holding. Abrasion from previous sticker on blank leaf following title-page. Pen markings on few pages. Binding in good-, interior in very good condition.
