E, Chaplin, Happy New Year (Signed) Frank H. Clark." Interesting account of the author's and his two companions experiences on their 4,700 mile trip starting from Dudley creek bridge in Lisle, NY, to the foot of Pile's Peak, and back to Syracuse. Clark includes interesting historical facts of American history. Some age wear, staining and scuffing on binding. Waterstain along fore-edge of front board. Head and tail of spine and corners rubbed and bumped. Expertly reinforced with white binders tape along gutters at front- and rear endpaper.
