Leipzig: Richter's Verlag, ca. 1890's. Complete 9 piece Anker Stone puzzle by the German firm Friedrich Richter. In original 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"" illustrated cardboard box. Includes original 48 page booklet with various patterns, 7 loose numbers leaves as well as two instruction leaves, as issued. One of the "Alte Stein Ausgaben." Over 600 different Anchor Stone building sets were produced in a number of different series. Stones were made of clay, sand and linseed oil. Corners of 3 stones chipped. Very minor scuffing to box, overall good condition. Original late 18th century dissection puzzle. 9 stones with at least 125 possibilities to place. Scarce Nr. 1 of Anker Geduldspiel. g. Item #23184
