Complete 3 volume set of the writings and studies by Sir James Mackintosh (1765-1832). Mackintosh was a Scottish jurist, politician and historian. He was trained as a doctor and barrister, and worked also as a journalist, judge, administrator, professor and philosopher. Age wear, scuffing, abrasions and minor staining on bindings. Head and tail of spines slightly chipped. Some splitting along spine on front and back boards, firmly holding. Tight copies with bindings in good-, interior in very good condition. g. Item #22853
