All edges gilt, moire endpapers, and raised bands on spine. Frontis color reproduction of portrait of Jonathan Swift (1667-1745). Illustrated by Fritz Eichenberg with b/w reproductions of prints, including a few maps. Gulliver's travels was both a novel, a parody on the 'traveler's tales' that were popular at the time of its publication, and a satire of human nature. Overall very good condition. vg. Item #22203
