Frontispiece of an original woodcut by the Jewish graphic artist, master etcher and painter Joseph Budko (1888-1940). Delightfully illustrated with 12 small etchings reproduced in heliogravure, interspersed with 12 pages of letterpress. Each woodcut accompanied by a poem by Arno Nadel (1878-1943), relating to major Jewish holidays. Frontispiece slightly creased. Age wear and abrasions, particularly on front board.
