On the author (Source: Public Domain): Johann Joachim Bellermann (1754 - 1842) was a German Theologian and Semitist. He received his doctorate in 1782 at the Universität zu Erfurt [University of Erfurt]. In 1784 he became full professor and headmaster of the Ratsgymnasiums in Erfurt in 179. In 1804 he became headmaster of the Berlinischen Gymnasiums zum Grauen Kloster. A university was founded at the same place, and Bellermann subsequently became Professor of Theology. He died on October 25th, 1842.
