Scarce portfolio containing 24 photogravures by Hugo Richter of female nude models. Late 19th century work published to serve as a tool as well as an inspiration for painters, sculptors, architects and for use in academia. Just a year before the work was published the first FKK (Freikörperkultur) club was founded in Essen. FKK was a 'free body culture' movement in Germany, educating the public on the aesthetic and beauty of the nude human body. Lettering on front cover and title-page in German, no other text.
