Excellent compilation and translation of one of the core Jewish texts, the Babylonian Talmud, tractate "Baba Mezia". In a very unusual manner, the original Talmudic text in the center of each page is in the original Hebrew, while the commentary surrounding the text on all sides is in German. As stated by OCLC, this edition was meant as the first part of a series covering the whole Talmud. However, it wasn't continued and this volume remains the only one ever published.
