Colophon hand-signed and numbered in pencil by the artist.

"A Pride of Rabbis" is a collection of satirical and ribald poems regarding rabbis written in the style of midrashic discourses.

This work is splendidly illustrated throughout with 13 irreverent, humorous full-page linocuts by Cyril Satorsky, all hand-printed on sumptuous rag paper.

One of 250 signed and numbered copies printed on Hosho paper under the artist's supervision, of which this is No. 191.
