The book was originally written by Dr. Johannes Blochwitz and was first published in Germany. This edition has been translated by Mrs. M. Wesselhoeft. Starting with Othman or Osman I. 1299-1326, it covers all the Sultans up until Abd-ul-Hamid II. in 1876. Illustrated with two large fold-out maps of which one is showing Turkey in Europe and the other Turkey in Asia. In very good condition. vg. Item #12554
