Includes information on the early history of Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (including a reference to a student strike in 1906 in favor of a wider curriculum than just Talmud) as well as the Jewish Theological Seminary. Profusely illustrated with numerous charts (many folding), illustrations, and b/w photographic reproductions. Bent map. Wear to spine and fraying at top. Some fading on spine print.
