Hysteric Glamour [AND] The Clown [EACH SIGNED]

[Tokyo]: [1998]. First Edition. Hardcover. 1/1000 (unnumbered copy). Quarto. Publisher's black boards, dust jacket. Fine in nearly fine dj, with slight wear at spine ends, and some faint rubbing at extremities; The Clown puzzle fine, in original shrinkwrap. Housed in publisher's photo-illustrated box with some light rubbing at the edges.

This first book by Terry Richardson was published in conjunction with an exhibition for the Japanese fashion purveyors Hysteric Glamour. A notoriously decadent work, but one which nonetheless blacks-out the (human) genitalia for Japanese aficionados: revelry, cats and dogs, clowns, selfies (when they used to be pretentiously referred to as "self portraits") -- what more could you want? Signed by the photographer at the title-page.

Offered with the companion jigsaw puzzle which depicts a portrait of Toe Jam the Clown, also signed, at the bottom corner. Fine / Nearly fine. Item #53540
