Elie Saab (b. 1964) is known for his designs using expensive fabrics, lace, embroidery, gemstones, Swarovski crystals, etc. and one of his wedding dresses reportedly sold for $2.4 million. He is the first Lebanese designer to dress an Oscar winner (Hallie Berry). His clothes have been worn by royalty (Queen of Jordan, Princess of Sweden), as well as the Holywood glitterati (Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Kate Middleton, Angelina Jolie, Helen Mirren, Christina Aguilera, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Gal Gadot, Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
