Both volumes housed in original plain cardboard slipcase with blue, red and white lettering on label pasted across spine and front and back covers. Designed by John Gossage.

Signed J. Gossage on half-title of volume one, this with eighteen frontispiece photographs and title page printed in three colors with half moon photo at center. Volume two is signed by Gossage underneath statement "I will not give up until I have found Potsdamer Platz! I cannot find Potsdamer Platz. Here? This cannot be" (Page 5). An elaborate series of b/w photographs of the Berlin Wall convincingly capturing the tragic role "The Wall" played in postwar German history. Whether it's the graffiti or the desolate atmosphere of abandoned buildings, the barbed wire or the modest table settings of still inhabited buildings nearby, bullet holes in protective mesh or utensils left behind, the impressions left from these photographs are dramatic reflections of the tragedy called "The Berlin Wall."
