Original black pebbled half-cloth over off-white boards with black lettering on cover, red on spine. Thirty-First Memoir of the Egypt Exploration Fund. "In many respects the cemetery could not be considered rich. Stone vases and the finer worked flints were rare, but on the other hand valuable ivories were found and several interesting objects in copper... we have confined ourselves to a bare statement of facts. None of the innumerable disputed questions are discussed. The description of the plates, however, has been made as full as possible, tough of a general character." (Author).
