Original bright red cloth with tan lettering on paper label of cover. With suite of ten original prints by Fritz Scholder, hand-printed in the Kallitype process on Rives BFK by James Hajicek. This limited edition contains the 24-leaf text volume printed in both manuscript and typeset, ISBN 3923922108, bound between heavy cardboard covers tied at inner margin.

"Scholder was one-quarter Luseino, a California Mission tribe, he grew up outside the native American community and only later began to explore this cultural heritage, bringing to it a unique perspective. Afternoon Nap [by Scholder] was published in 1991, the first in a series of book projects by Nazraeli Press, Munich, followed in 1992 with Live Dog / Evil God in a limited edition of 50 copies."
