"The language of fragmentation is a modernist trope of longstanding. It is difficult not to think of Duchamp or Picasso when confronting Kellner's cubist and multifaceted impressions of space, the single perspective confounded, and the moment replaced by multiple moments and points of view." (Nordström). Kellner assembles his work from multiple individual photographs using the grid format. The final product can be considered a "massive" installation. Published on the occasion of the traveling exhibition starting at the Art Galerie Siegen and subsequently shown at galleries in Saarbrücken, München, Köln, Houston and Chicago.
