Contains all works of the renowned German author Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832), including his famous poems, travel reports, political texts and dramas such as West-Ost-Divan, Goetz von Berlichingen, Iphigenie auf Taurus, Faust, Leiden des jungen Werthers, Willhelm Meisters Lehrjahre, Dichtung und Wahrheit, including posthumous works. Vol. 1-40 are believed to have been revised and edited by Goethe himself. Vol. 41-55 were edited and published by J. P. Eckermann, F. W. Riemer and Kanzler F. v. Müller.
