The book collects a pair of fantasy short stories by the Nobel Prize-winning novelist Isaac Bashevis Singer. The text is accompanied by water color illustrations by artist Raphael Soyer (1899-1987). Introduction by Harry T. Moore. The final section contains 22 plates of sketched studies for the artist's illustrations in the book. A magazine clipping about Singer and a Limited Editions Club monthly letter laid. Slipcase with some smudges and stains. Spine of the book with a few small stains.
