Guide through modern architecture in Berlin, illustrated with one hundred and sixty-eight b/w photographs, architectural drawings and plans, including a folding map (14 1/2 x 19 1/2") pointing out the locations of the projects, printed in orange and black. Contains alphabetical lists of Berlin districts and architects at front, including Anker & Luckhardt, O. Bartning, P. Behrens, W. Gropius, E. Gutkind, E. Mendelsohn, Mies van der Rohe, Richard Neutra, H. und M. Poelzig, Scharoun, B. and M. Taut, among many others.

Buildings included in the guide are the Grosse Schauspielhaus, the Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse, metro Bahnhof-Zoo, the Reichskanzlei, the Funkturm with restaurant and radio hall, various settlements, including the famous Siemensstadt with projects by Gropius and Scharoun, the central airport Berlin, the Ullstein publisher's printing offices, industry company branches, etc. Contains list of buildings and photo credits (e.g. Sasha Stone), street names and advertisements at rear. Text in German. Wraps with some wear, vertical fold of front cover, chipping at top and bottom corners of foredge, rubbed, including inside cover and title page.
