This scarce publication is a promotional pamphlet issued by the The Jewish National Fund (Keren Kayemet LeYisrael) for fundraising purposes. Here the organzition includes text priasing its efforts to purchase and cultivate the land in Palestine for Jewish settlement, and discussing its history. The interior front and back wrappers include a list of some of the funds larger land holdings, with information of the size of the holding in dunams. Includes a total of 5 b/w photographic reproductions (including the front cover) showing images of the landscape and cultivation practices. A similar pamphlet with the same nameis known to have been issued the following year as well.
Book block disbound from wrappers. Staple rust residue, an ink stamp and a closed tear to the front wrapper. A closed tear and minor smudges to the back wrapper. Light creasing to the margins of pages throughout, with pages clean and bright. Wrappers in poor, interior in good condition. Scarce. Wrappers protected in modern mylar. poor to g. Item #48967
