Color frontispiece (First color reproduction of a painting ever to be made utilizing fluorescent printing inks). Published on the occasion of an exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Art November third through December third 1961. Seventeen of the nineteen paintings in the exhibition had been lent by the Rose Rabow Galleries, San Francisco, two by the collection of Dr. Robert C. Dickenman. With a foreword by director George D. Culler and an introduction by Gordon Onslow-Ford. Illustrated with b/w photographs of Bowman and friends and twelve b/w reproductions of Bowman's work plus the color frontispiece. Contains statement of and fragments from the artist's notebook with biography and list of exhibitions at rear. Wraps with light sunning along edges. Very good condition. Item #48696
