Printed staple-bound beige wrappers with black lettering on the front cover. Published as part of the "Soldier's Library" series, by the Administration for Political and Educational Affairs of the Polish Army, this work details the history of the Warsaw Uprising. The uprising was the coordinated offensive by the Polish resistance movement launched against the German forces starting in August of 1944, and was infamous for the violence and destruction unleashed by the Nazis upon the city and its citizens in retaliation. It is considered the largest and most significant military resistance effort taken against the Nazis in Europe during World War II. The book discusses what it calls the "betrayal of the red army" during the uprising. The final page of the book contains a table of contents.
