Red top edge. Color-illustrated endpapers and title page. The Red Fairy Book comprises translations and adaptations from their Norwegian, French, German and Russian originals. It is illustrated with eight color plates, the plate on the cover, the endpapers and an illustrated title page by Gustaf Tenggren. Light wear along edges of binding, some very light staining of back cover. Inside front cover with some remnants of paper sticker and two inked signatures at top of illustrated front endpaper. Very small stain at top of title page. Light age-toning of block. Binding in overall good, interior and plates in very good condition. G to very good condition. Item #48436
