Tan printed textured paper wrappers, with small illustration and lettering in black. Originally founded in Jerusalem in 1914, by educator, Hebrew scholar, and community leader David Yellin (1864-1941), the institution was one of the first colleges for teachers to be established in Palestine. It was originally colloquially known as the Beit ha-Kerem Seminary, but is now officially known as the David Yellin College of Education. This publication contains a detailed overview of many aspect of the institution, including its curriculum, students, architecture, classrooms and history. Among faculty pictured are Dr. E. Simon, Dr. E. Witkower, Dr. I. Rivlin and founder professor David Yellin. Includes statistical tables and b/w photographic reproductions throughout. Text on one side of the book block in English, with identical content on the other side in Hebrew, (including separate covers and title pages). A two-page fold-out at the center of the book block contains two images showing the exteriors of the buildings.

Text throughout in English and Hebrew.

Wrappers with some light bumping and/or creasing to extremities. Covers lightly smudged, with a few minor stains. Wrappers in very good-, interior in near fine condition overall. Protected by modern mylar. Item #48426
