Illustrated throughout with b/a photographs of architectural projects by Mies van der Rohe, Luckhardt and Anker, Hannes Meyer, Peter Behrens, P. Oud, H. Scharoun, Walter Gropius, among others. Contains a reproduction of the poster for the 1927 Werkbund exhibition in Stuttgart, design by Willi Baumeister, Mies van der Rohe and Werner Gräfe. Sigrist was the pseudonym of the political activist Alexander Schwab, founder of the Communist Workers Party of Germany in 1922. With photo credits and four pages of publisher's advertisements at rear. Text in German. Binding with very light wear along edges and lightly rubbed. Very good condition. Item #48348
