Original string-bound three-quarter red cloth over gray boards with black lettering and publisher's device on cover; two labels with black lettering pasted to cover, on top of each other. Title plate with publisher's device and publisher's printed label pasted to bottom, formerly known as Hessling & Spielmeyer. Roman numeral II penciled in front of printed "Series" with 35 plates present, numbered A1–A35.
The ornaments displayed in this volume are for embelishment of facades and interiors using stucco ornaments in Baroque and Rococo styles. Executed based on designs of outstanding architects and designs of the author. The thirty-five plates show examples of capitals, caryatides, stelas, pillars, busts, masks, rosettes, gussets, edges, consoles, friezes, panels, corners, head-mouldings, crownings, top-stones, frames, etc. Designs for architects, modelers, plasterers, porcelain and majolica manufacturers, industrial schools, etc. in photogravure. Text in German. Portfolio with cloth joints partially cracked and lightly frayed. Boards with some light staining and rubberd. Title plate with some foxing.
