NP, n.d. Softcover. Oblong 16mo. 5 1/4 x 7 3/4". 59pp. [2]. Gold paper over tan printed staple-bound wrappers, with grey-blue text and decorative border on the front cover. A unique and obscure typescript cookbook assembled by an unknown author, containing a total of 56 recipes for mid-century American dishes. Each item includes printed text underneath containing a person's name and address, assumed to be someone who "submitted", or shared the recipe with the owner of the cookbook. The recipes here range from dinner items and salads to desserts and pastries. Some examples include Cherry Salad, Blood Orange Custard, Shrimp Mold, Banana Nut Bread, Italian Spaghetti, Pizza Pie, Tomato Soup Salad and Mince Meat Cake. It is not known what the connection is to the printed title "Recipes from Tel Aviv" on the cover. Wrappers with minor to light rubbing, creasing and stains. Gilt along the spine rubbed off at the head and tail. Interior with sporadic minor to light water stains on the initial pages. Pages throughout with some minor creases and sporadic minor pencil markings. Wrappers and interior in very good- condition overall. Item #48168
