Famed Israeli typographer Eliyahu Koren designed the Tanakh, including a new typeface*, which became its trademark. Some wear to slipcase, rubbed with light chipping and spine edges reinforced with brown library tape. Text in Hebrew. Slipcase in overall good, binding and interior in near fine to fine condition. g to fine. Item #47948

* Eliyahu Koren's typeface is based on the designs used by German calligrapher, illustrator, graphic artist and painter, Marcus Michael Douglas Behmer (1879-1958) for the splendid Soncino's edition of the "Hamishah humshe Torah" (1933).
