Illustrated with full page in in-text lithographic woodcut reproductions by W. Donath (one in color), W. Heimes, Mattonet, K. Ballhaus, and W. Schulze, all of them adolescents. Six lines of song text nicely inked to front free endpaper. Text in German, Gothic script. Boards slightly bent outward with some light fraying at tail of spine, partly cracked back joint and small chips at head of spine. Small dealer sticker on inside front cover.
