A delightful children's book, written and illustrated throughout with vibrant color lithographic images by acclaimed British illustrator Walter Crane (1845-1915). Include fantastical images of fairy-like figures and floral imagery, accompanied by whimsical verse. There are 8 pages of publisher's advertisements a the rear. Binding with some rubbing to extremities, and some age toning to the covers. Bumping along the spine. Interior very clean. Starting at p.7 of the publisher's ads, book block is quite tight overall.
