The brochure is structured into five chapters: "The time of Michael Thonet," providing an outline of Thonet's career, including the famous chair No. 14 of which fifty million pieces were made; Thonet in the time of Modernist Vienna and the influence of Otto Wagner; the new Thonet-Collection of the Modernist Vienna; the time of the Bauhaus, including the reproduction of a Thonet Bauhaus poster, and lastly the present and future of Thonet.
