A 16-page folded pamphlet discussing the need to establish a strong Jewish defense organization in the Land of Israel, by pioneering Revisionist Zionist leader Vladimir "Ze'ev" Jabotinsky. Published in the wake of the infamous 1929 Palestine Riots, the manifesto advocated for a strong organized Jewish defense force ("The Haganah", as we now know it) for protection against Arab assaults. This work was originally published in German in 1925, to coincide with the Fourteenth Zionist Congress held in Vienna. The Hebrew translation was published in 1929, "to aid those injured during the riots", as stated on the front cover, and advocate for Jewish national defense. A scarce and historically important work in the history of the Revisionist Zionist movement.
