This is #898 of a limited edition of 1000 copies of the set, hand-numbered on the title pages. The set contains high quality facsimile reproductions of 3 famous historic haggadot. Included are the Prague Haggadah of 1526 (the earliest complete surviving illustrated printed Haggadah), the Offenbach Haggadah of 1722 and the Trieste Haggadah of 1864.
Each reproduction is bound in decorative or illustrated tan marbled boards, with brown lettering on front covers and spines. All of the facsimiles accurately reproduce and preserve the original title pages, layout, typefaces and illustrations of the Haggadot. The new publisher's colophons and title pages in each of the volumes contain text in Hebrew and English, below the titles, providing brief historical context for the work. The illustrations in the set are reproduced lithographically. Illustrated Ex Libris and signature of ear surgeon Dr. Victor Goodhill on inside front covers. Text in Hebrew.
