A self-educated artist who settled in Los Angeles (1984), via Armenia (1947), Russia (1956), France (1968) who's works shows the direct influence of Armenian miniature manuscripts, as developed and interpreted in his works. Profusely illustrated with full page color reproductions of his work and numerous full page drawings. The section with full page b/w reproductions of his pencil drawings, illustrate caricatures, Cubist influences and much whimsy. Contains various personal b/w photographs and documents.
