Laid in two letters dated April and May 1929, on official publisher's stationary, one typed with contractual details, the other handwritten emphasizing the enthusiastic response to the publication, both signed Marcus Graham addressing the recipient J. Cohen with "Comrade."

Preface by Marcus Graham, introduction by Lucia Trent and Ralph Cheyney. One page dedication "I Am The People, The Mob" by Carl Sandburg. Contains poetry by William Blake, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Robert Burns, Ralph Waldo Emerson, John Ruskin, Alfred Tennyson, and complete credits for modern poets and translators.
