Complete series of five monographs on prominent Dutch architects:

The first issue, written by W. Retera, is devoted to Willem Kromhout (1864-1940), one of the pioneers of modern Dutch architecture.

The second issue, written by W. Retera, is devoted to Piet Kramer (1881-1961), one of the most important architects of the Amsterdam School (Expressionist architecture).

The third issue, written by Just Havelaar, is devoted to Hendrik Petrus Berlage (1856-1934), a prominent Dutch architect who was influenced by the Neo-Romanesque brickwork architecture of Henry Hobson Richardson and of the combination of structures of iron seen with brick of the Castle of the Three Geckos of Domènech i Montaner.

The fourth issue, written by Ir. G. Knuttel Jr, is devoted to Alexander Jacobus Kropholler (1881-1973), who, after converting to the Roman Catholic faith in 1908, developed a very personal style, on the lines of Hendrik Petrus Berlage, characterized by sober brick walls, the use of stone for structural detailing, and exposed carpentry for the trusses.

The fifth and last issue, written by Ir. G. Friedhoff, is devoted to Willem Marinus Dudok (1884-1974), a Dutch modernist architect who became City Architect for the town of Hilversum in 1928 where he was best known for the brick Hilversum Town Hall, completed in 1931.
