"Ellipses Graecae" is Dutch scholar Lambert Bos' most famous book. It was originally published in 1702 and was translated into English by John Seager in 1830.

Our copy is the ninth and, according to the majority of critics, the best edition of this book as it contains the notes of the editor himself, German philologue Prof. Gottfried Heinrich Schäfer (1764-1840).

Ex-library copy, with reference sticker at upper front joint and tail of spine, stamp on title and at top and bottom paper edges. Bookplate on inside of front cover and printed notice at verso of back cover. Moderate and sporadic foxing throughout. Text in Latin.
