This is the true first edition of Vladimir Jabotinsky's biblical novel, Samson the Nazirite (Samson Nazorei) published in Russian. Originally serialized from 1919-1926 in the pages of the Russian-language Jewish journal "Rassvet (Dawn)", the story tells the author's interpretation of the life of the biblical judge Samson the Nazirite. The protagonist has been analyzed as a Jabotinsky's idealization of the strong and bold Jewish warrior, and come to be seen as perfect example of his outlook. The final pages include a table of contents and a section of publisher's advertisements.
