This work is complete with its nine lithographic plates (including the frontispiece and the map of Corsica and Sardinia), as well as 39 in-text wood-engravings.

Moderate rubbing along edges of binding. Previous owner's prize bookplate on inside of front cover, and dated 1870. Minor and sporadic foxing to endpapers and fly leaves. Clear water-staining to upper margin of each lithographic plate (not affecting pages throughout). Binding in overall good to good+, interior in good+ to very good condition. g to vg. Item #46239
