Includes memoirs of eminent blind authors, Homer, Ossian, Milton, Rev. Richard Lucas, T. Carolan, Thomas Blacklock, Huber, Holman, Wilson, and others. In addition it elaborates on achievements of the blind in learned professions, industrial pursuits, in poetry and music, an autobiographical sketch of Lemuel Rockwell, and a collection of poems by I. V. Hall and other blind authors. Light wear along edges of binding, rubbing to covers and spine with light fraying of head and tail of spine. Corners lightly bumped.
