"Condottieri" was a 1937 Italian historical film starring Luis Trenker, Loris Gizzi and Laura Nucci. The film portrays the life of Giovanni de' Medicci, a 16th Century military leader. It was directed by Luis Trenker (Co-director Werner Klingler) who also co-wrote the screenplay for the Italian and German versions, based on a story by Luis Trenker. Laura Nucci played the part of Tullia delle Grazie. X97J and X98J penned to photographs in white ink. Minor wear along edges. Overall in very good+ condition. vg+. Item #45424

Laura Nucci (1913–1994), born in Carrara as Maria Laura Lodovici, was an actress best known for Orgoglio e pregiudizio (1957), Warrior of the Lost World (1983), and Le sedicenni (1965). Lucci was one of the stars of the Fascist era. After the downfall of Mussolini her career slowed down but after 1950 she appeared again as character actress in various movie productions and on Italian TV. Her last recorded appearance in a film was in "Warrior of the Lost World (1983)."
