The publication is an issue of the of the promotional supplement to the German weekly, Illustrierter Film-Kurier, promoting the theatrical release of the 1939 UFA-produced, German war propaganda documentary "Im Kampf Gegen Den Weltfeind, Deutsche Freiwillige in Spanien", directed by prolific filmmaker, Karl Ritter. Profusely illustrated throughout with b/w photogravure and photomontage, depicting members of the Condor Legion of the German army participating in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), including images of soldiers, planes, tanks, pilots, refugees and battle scenes. The Berlin premiere of the film took place June 16th 1939. Text throughout, including crew credits in German.
Wrappers with a few light dampstains, and a chip at the tail of the spine. Interior with few minor water stains throughout, images mostly unaffected. Wrappers and interior in very good condition overall. vg. Item #44978
