Gigi [Film Poster, 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 Feet]
Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1966. Posters. Square multicolored "six-sheet" poster for the 1966 re-release of the MGM musical film "Gigi", in four pieces. Orange and black lettering. When fully assembled, the poster measures a total of approximately 78.5x79.5" . The four pieces each have the following measurements: 39 1/4x26", 39x54", 53 1/2x40 1/2", and 41x26 1/2". Offset printing.
The highly successful musical film directed by Vincente Minnelli and starring Leslie Caron, Louis Jourdan, Maurice Chevalier among others went on to win 9 Academy Awards in 1959.
The poster has a few closed folding tears, and a few other small closed tears which have been taped on the back. Colors and paper still bold and bright. In very good condition overall. All pieces housed in a plastic sleeve. Scarce in this size and format. vg. Item #44735
