With two contributions, one by Naso, Heads and Figures from the History of the Theater, and the second by Dörschel, From the Old Archives of the Theater. Both contributions praise the rich history of the theater, Naso with distinct contributions on direction and writers involved in its program, and Dörschel with transcriptions of correspondence between the playwrights and the theater staff as well as correspondence between playwrights, some in facsimile reproductions. Naso's essay is illustrated with b/w reproductions of artwork showing the theater, portraits, programs, etc. Part three contains b/w reproduction of actor portraits in costume or regular head shots, some drawings, divided into contemporary and actors of the classics, including Emil Jannings, Maria Koppenhöfer, Jürgen Fehling, Pamela Wedekind, Max Pohl, Gustav Gründgens, among many others.
