One hundred chromolithographs loose in portfolio, with gold and silver highlights, of approximately 2,000 motifs in various Ancient and Asian styles, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the 17th and 18th Century. Artists credited below images. Historical and practical manual with a magnificent collection of decorative motifs. Text in French. The descriptive pages for each plate are placed behind each chromolithograph of the portfolio. The majority of the plates with some foxing in mostly lower margins, not affecting images with few exceptions. Nine of the plates with Roman numbers cut off but noted in pencil in top margin. The text pages are cut to different sizes, some staining and wear along edges, and placed into the last sleeve of the portfolio. In overall good+ to very good condition. g+ to vg. Item #44067
