The work is the English translation of a collection of Hebrew poetry about the city of Jerusalem by Ari Ben-Zahav (Ibn Zahav), originally published in 1939 as "At Yerushalayim". The translation and introduction are by Israel Meir Lask, and the text is illustrated by a total of 6 reproductions after orginal artwork by Jacob Steinhardt depicting the cityscapes of Jersualem. Binding with with scratches, stains and some light rippling. Interior foxed throughout, with some creasing to the upper corners of pages. Binding and interior in good- condition overall. Ari Ibn-Zahav (Ben-Zahav) (1899-1971) was the pen name of L. Goldshteyn (Goldstein) a Polish-born Israeli poet, novelist and dramatist.
