The is a second "greatly enlarged and revised edition", of the trade catalog from English medical equipment manufacturer James Woolley, Sons. & Co. Starting out as a small pharmaceutical manufacturer in 1833, in King Street in Manchester, England, by 1894 the successful company had expanded to produce an extensive inventory of all manner of medical and surgical equipment ranging from bedpans to microscopes and even selling photographic and meteorological equipment as well as telephones for use in hospitals (all displayed in this catalog). The catalog contains more than 600 illustrated figures printed lithographically in b/w. The initial pages contain a preface from the manufacturer, terms of business, table of contents and an extensive index. Binding with some light rubbing to extremities and along edges. Some rippling to the cloth along the spine. Minor scratches to the front cover. Starting at the interior front cover. Minor sporadic water stains and smudges throughout.
