The book is a profusely illustrated and detailed sales catalog of over 8,000 items of medical and surgical instruments manufactured by the Reid Brothers company. The final 16 pages contain a complete and comprehensive list of products featured in the catalog, arranged alphabetically. Each of the products, which include all matter of surgical and laboratory equipment, are illustrated with detailed figures printed lithographical in b/w on glossy paper. The initial pages at the front contain an illustrated depiction of the company's regional offices and manufacturing plants, as well as sales terms, shipping and ordering information. Binding with front board slightly bowed, as well as a few small holes, minor abrasions, sunning, scratches, smudges and water stains. Original "net price list" missing from the sleeve at the interior front cover. Starting and sunning along the gutter of the interior front cover. Sporadic minor foxing and damp staining to the first and last few pages including interior covers. A small closed tear at the top of the title page. Images an figures clean and detailed throughout.
